"Cascade" is an original painting by Dallas' artist Suzie Collins. "Cascade" is painting #1 of a new series which represents the dynamic life cycle of flowers and plants through sculptural elements and expressive brush strokes depicting blooming and fading; a deep appreciation for nature as a subject and metaphor in art. This series was inspired when hiking through the Rocky Mountains, Cascade Falls, which was affected by the fire in 2020 that burned over 170,000 acres in Colorado. While a lot of the trees were charred and texturized by the fire, the land was budding with color and life.
